Thank you for taking the time to check these classy, shiny, black lids out! As I was staining the rustic barn wood lids, I thought...hey, I might be able to stain some lids black! That is what I did, and I can offer them to the candle making community now! I might be able to also do other colors in the future.

These lids are specifically for the Dollar Tree's Square Jars. They are stained with "Ebony" woodstain which is basically a black color. They are beautiful, sturdy, and gorgeous. They are stained in two coats, taking two days to complete (not including the time it takes to make the actual lid).

These lids are made with 100% real wood; pine, oak, cherry, maple, etc. Each one is its own solid piece. The lids have no rubber lining or anything. Some are snug while others are loose fitting. When we make our lids, we test on a couple jars and aim for snug. However, we've tested on 5-6 jars with one same lid and found that the JARS ARE NOT MADE EQUAL. Snug fit is not guaranteed.
